Pembrokeshire MG Car Club organise a Rally each August called the Pendine Dash which attracts MGs from all over Britain to participate in a 90 mile run around Pembrokeshire. As a result, money is raised from the entry fees and the club gives a donation to a local charity This year a cheque for £1100 was presented to H.O.P.E. (Hyperbaric Oxygen Pembrokeshire Endeavour). This organisation helps people suffering from Multiple Sclerosis by giving them extra oxygen and physiotherapy. The unit, situated on the Honeyborough Business Park, Neyland also treats patients with other diseases like Parkinsons and many people in Pembrokeshire find the therapies very beneficial to their quality of life. The photograph shows the cheque being presented by the Pembrokeshire MG Treasurer, Mr Brian Morris to Mr Ken Brombley and Bob Chappell on behalf of H.O.P.E.
The MG Club will be holding its 10th Pendine Dash on August 10th 2014 and invites any MG owner to come and participate. Details of the run and entry forms can be found on www.pembsmg.com.
The Tenby Masonic Lodge have once again donated to H.O.P.E. our Centre and all at H.O.P.E. Thank you for this voluntary Donation it is really appreciated and with support like this it is much easier and a lot less pressure on our fundraisers once again Thank you.
